They are sold near the spackles in your home improvement store. The directions are easy to follow, and they work! After paint, you wouldn’t know there once were big ol’ ugly holes. We used spackle to cover nail holes, minor cracks, and imperfections throughout the house. I tried a lot of different spackles in this house. My favorite one for minor repairs is Fast N Final. It applies easily, dries in a few minutes, and doesn’t require a whole lot of sanding.

The people they hired to do the actual labor were very good and trustworthy. There was a lot of detail work throughout the house and they did an amazing job. I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for painting work in the Treasure Valley. They were able to start right away (big plus). I was expecting furniture to be delivered soon. Very happy with the work. I picked a color in one room I wasn't happy with after it was done (I couldn't be there at the time) and Chris went to Sherwin Williams with me and helped me get just what I had in mind. Eddie repainted it beautifully. The owner, Chris was totally professional and honest. His price was fair for the first class paint and workmanship. Boise Home Painting saved me when I put my house on the market to sell! Chris the owner came out and walked me through the entire process personally and even worked with my realtor so that I could get my house on the market in a timely fashion. With the new quality paint on the exterior of my home I was able to add thousands onto the sale price of my house. Before painting aluminum, apply primer. If aluminum siding is in good shape, you can use a latex metal primer. However, if the surface is oxidized, do not use a latex primer: A typical ingredient of latex is ammonia, which can have a negative reaction with the oxidation. Instead, use an alkyd-based primer that has been thinned one part paint thinner to four parts primer. Your finish coat will cover best if you tint the primer toward the finish color with about half the tint in the final finish.
