It looks nice but I am so sad you all covered all the original trim when it looked like all it needed was a sanding and restain đ Jamie February 25, 2015
Where you live can play a big factor in how lucrative your painting business can be. If you live in an area with high housing prices and with residents that have extra money to invest in home repairs, then you shouldnât have any trouble finding work at fair rates. Homeowners associations often encourage and may even require homeowners to refresh the paint on the outside of their homes every few years. This means that if you keep your customers happy, they may keep coming back to you whenever they need a touch up. Drumming up new business is half the challenge, so if you can secure repeat customers, youâll be off to a great start.

Awesome post! I just wanted to add a couple tips about cleaning brushes that might be helpful. If youâre painting and are coming back for second coats later the same day, you can put your brush in a ziplock bag to keep it from drying out while youâre taking a break. When cleaning your brushes, use Murphy Oil Soap, it really helps to get the paint off and is eco friendly. You can even soak brushes in it and clean them later on if youâre a giant procrastinator like I am đ I love following your progress with this house and am so stoked to see the finished product! Cheers and have a great day! Alexandra February 25, 2015 Jill @ Champagne for Everyday February 25, 2015
