The Kelly Brothers team were experienced, truthful and easy to work with. The painting foreman was very professional and did everything we ask him to do. They went beyond what we expected. We highly recommend them.

If approved for credit, you can choose which invoices you want to clear (up to your credit limit). Fundbox can then transfer that amount into your account as soon as one business day. You then have 12 or 24 weeks to repay, plus a small fee.

Avoid lap marks by painting all of the way across three or four boards at a time. Brush-out any drips.
The amount of preparation required before painting varies considerably by job. Some locations will require wallpaper or paint to be removed and the surface prepared with primer or other material. Other jobs simply require the surface to be cleaned, so that the new paint can adhere to the surface.

There’s no hard-and-fast answer to this question since every property is different. As a general rule of thumb, most experts recommend repainting every five to ten years. However, these numbers vary based on the type of material being painted. Here are a few guidelines to consider:
The method used to apply the paint varies, depending on the type of paint and the surface itself. For example, oil-based paint is best applied with a roller, and latex based paint can be sprayed onto the surface. The size of the project, the colors used and the layout of the walls also can affect the method used.
Hey, folks. It’s Josh. I’ve been super busy these past couple of months working on our HFHS project house. As we mentioned in our last update, the house is coming along, and we can’t wait to share more with you soon. We’ve learned a LOT while working on this project! One task we recently completed was painting all of the interior. A lot more goes into painting than you might guess, so I thought it would be fun to share a thorough breakdown of everything we encountered and learned as we painted this house. If you have any big painting projects in your future, I highly recommend you check out some of these tips and lessons we learned so hopefully your project goes smoothly.
My house was a 70s build, and almost completely wallpapered with a lot of the wallpaper painted over, which definitely didn’t help in removing it all! I also had a slightly different problem with removing wallpaper – the previous owners had used vinyl wallpaper, which when steamed stretched a lot rather than scraping off easily. It was easier to just score and scrape or peel off the paper dry, and later steam off any papery bits that were left on the wall.

This is also true for a home’s interior. When painting new construction, it is often done before any furniture, lighting fixtures, cabinetry, and other items are inside, so there is no need for extensive preparations. Generally, painters start their work after all the drywall, plumbing, and electrical work. Since the flooring won’t even be down yet, you don’t have to worry about post-paint cleanup either. Due to all these facts, the interior and exterior painting cost for new construction will range from $7,000 to $11,000 to paint the average 2,500 sq.ft. home during the construction process.
Painting your own house sounds fun since you could do it anyway you want. But I don’t think I would be able to do that though. Hope I could do that someday though 🙂 tisha February 26, 2015
Before painting, seal-up any gaps between siding and trim. Painters recommend using paintable100% acrylic caulk for multi-purpose caulking.
